Booking Details via zcal

When you book a call through zcal, you may provide:

Parent name and contact details (phone number, email)
Child's name, year, and school
Any additional comments you choose to provide

This information is used only to prepare for the initial consultation call you book, so we can understand your situation and provide a more useful service. All booking information is submitted directly into zcal's system and stored by them.

3. How We Collect Information

PostHog — for analytics; configured in a privacy-friendly, cookieless way
Google Analytics + Google Ads — to measure ad performance in an anonymous / pseudonymous setup
zcal — for booking calls and collecting the details listed above
Cloudflare — for hosting and security; may log technical information automatically

We may also use query parameters in URLs to help measure ad performance and track how visitors interact with the site. These parameters are used in a pseudonymous and aggregated way to understand which ads are effective and how users navigate the site, and are not used to identify individuals.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Measure ad performance and effectiveness
Track user interactions to find and diagnose bugs and improve user experience
Run, maintain, and secure the site
Manage call bookings and prepare for those calls

5. Legal Basis for Processing

We rely on legitimate interests for most data processing (site security, performance monitoring, and measuring ad effectiveness). For booking calls via zcal, the information you provide is used to organise and deliver the consultation.

6. Sharing Information

We only share data with trusted services required to operate our site and deliver our services: PostHog, Google, zcal, and Cloudflare. We do not sell or rent your information.

7. Data Retention

Analytics and ad effectiveness data are kept in anonymous or pseudonymous form
Booking data (contact details and comments) is retained by zcal under their policy
Technical/security logs are kept temporarily by Cloudflare to protect the site

Correct or delete it
Object to certain processing

Please note that most of the data we collect is anonymous and cannot be linked back to you, so these rights generally only apply to identifiable information you have provided through zcal (such as your name, contact details, and booking information).

9. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use tracking cookies for analytics or ads. All analytics and ad measurement are done in a cookieless, privacy-friendly way. Cloudflare may use essential cookies for security and performance; these are strictly for necessary functions.

10. Children's Privacy

Our site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

We may update this policy occasionally. We will publish updates here and change the “last updated” date.
